Vdara in the Sky with Diamonds

Glass is quickly replacing stucco as the material of choice for Vegas’ casinoteurs or condoneers. Vdara, one of the buildings within City Center, is a hybrid hotel/condo. Buyer or renter beware, you’ve got huge windows as walls in your bathroom. However, if you’re the least bit shy, automated window shades come standard. Views of the flat desert city are a dime a dozen in Vegas, but seeing the valley from a higher altitude other than from the Stratosphere is a nice change of pace. Read the rest of this entry »
Rumor Has It

The former St. Tropez hotel was gutted and remodeled by Tandem Design and has reincarnated as Rumor.
